Dr. N. Bitaraf
To all Dentistry in the 6ix Family
First and foremost, we are thankful for the strength of our community that outshined these past dark days. We sincerely hope that you are keeping safe and remaining positive. Our hearts are with those who have been impacted, in any way, by COVID-19.
As you are likely aware, the Government of Ontario has lifted the restrictions for dental clinics and has allowed us to reopen, under some strict guidelines. While we are excited for the opportunity to see you back again, the health and safety of our patients and staff will continue to be our number one priority.
Strict infection control protocols are what make your visits to our office comfortable and safe. Our office follows infection control guidelines from our regulator, Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO), in coordination with the Chief Medical Officer of Health (CMOH) and we have been working hard behind closed doors, to prepare.
We would like to share with you an overview of our return plan that has implemented some changes to your dental visit.
-Screening Questionnaire: We will be in touch prior to your appointment to ask some critical COVID-19 screening questions. When you arrive for your appointment, you will answer the questions again and possibly have your temperature taken.
-Hand Hygiene: Our team will require you to use hand sanitizer the moment you enter the office. After any dental procedure you will use hand sanitizer and before you exit the office.
-Physical Distancing: Appointments will be scheduled to allow for time and physical distance between patients. If necessary, you will be asked to wait before entering the office to allow proper sanitation before you enter.
-Reception Area: Magazines and toys have all been removed and the area is sanitized after each visit. You are required to wear a mask and bring your own sunglasses if possible.
We look forward to seeing you all - Stay safe and healthy
